MeetĀ Melissa Dayton
New Jersey-based artist and designer Melissa Dayton creates patterns rooted in memory, nature, and the quiet beauty of her coastal New England childhood. With a background in art and interior design, her work is shaped by early years spent in sunlit gardens, wooded paths, and by the water’s edge. Places where texture, light, and layered detail first caught her attention. Wren, her debut blanket design for Kindly Woven, reflects that world with its gentle tangle of branches, birds, and botanical forms. Melissa’s designs feel lived-in and heartfelt, carrying the warmth of personal history and a deep reverence for the handmade.
